<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fovaSui759w" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Highlights of 2012 for me are looking to be: Craig Finn of The Hold Steady's first solo record. New Lucero record Women & Work, all the new stuff they played when I saw them live last week was exceptional, could be their best album yet. Oh and of course New Gaslight Anthem at some point.
Oooh. Seeing Henry Rollins in April (I think, maybe May). Missing out on Fleet Foxes but may see Death Cab. Not sure what else 2012 has in store for me yet.
We generally get sweet FA in Wellington tbf. Most of the decent overseas acts pass us by and go to Auckland or Christchurch.
Saw Arctic Monkeys on New Years but were so good I went and saw their sideshow on Tuesday night, was amazing again. Got Bon Iver tickets for March.
Busby Meroo playing at my local theatre tonight, got to go buy me mrs birthday presents after work but might try and get over there if there's time.
i like everything 360 makes and he recorded this last night. <object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/y0igqiZHxyU?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/y0igqiZHxyU?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Hey Jimmy, I was at a festival 360 was playing at, but decided not to go to watch him and sit and drink beers in a van instead. mad?
Could have beat your head in with a hammer in the van and it still would have been a more pleasant option.
Not classic Ministry, but we'll never get that back. Still rocks pretty hard despite some horrible lyrics. <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/eY50tO3AUgA" allowfullscreen="" width="640" frameborder="0" height="360"></iframe>
