  1. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

    7. Reynolds/Pearce
    6. Maloney/Sutton/Mullen/Carney

Listed in order of most likely to happen imo.

  2. Freddy MJ Johns

If they go Reynolds they will go sutton too IMO. I don't see Maloney as a long term option and they love club pairings.

  3. Julian BJ Taylor

I don't think Sutton will play in the halves next year.

Yeah I said that on Facebook. Comfortably our most skilful and creative halves; it's time to stop fucking around.

I almost wish Roosters win the premiership this year just so the NSW selectors can pick Pearnice and Baloney and go - "Well, maybe they deserve another chance?"

NSW just aren't very good at football. It's delightful.

    QLD 9 in a row?

You would think so if Pearce gets another run.

  9. Alec AD Funkotron

Yeah, that's why it's 9 in a row. And then only one more until 10.

If Pearce gets another run, I'll burn down NSWRL's headquarters.

This was why I wanted Manly to win. Now I reckon there's a above zero chance of Pearce being picked, despite him doing SFA.

I actually don't think they'll pick Pearce again unless he's on fire at club level. I don't think they'll put him in the World Cup squad, which is one thing that really would raise his chances above zero. Daley being coach means he'll be thereabouts but his public statements about it being his last chance has pretty much made up the selectors mind's for them.

You can just imagine the public outcry if he gets picked again because we all know the Blues will come up to Brisbane for Game I and get beaten which automatically means the 7 will come in for some extra attention.

Kimmorley is backing Pearce for Origin again next year. FMD.

Apparently Meninga has said Friend is first in line to replace Smith. Good.

  16. Alec AD Funkotron

Is he planning on retiring soon?

You're lucky the Roosters forward pack ran amok this year.

Brenton Lawrence has committed to QLD and Mal has said he is a real chance of playing next year. Great news for us. Adds further depth and could be a real smoky next year. He doesn't have the stamina or fitness to start in Origin but he'd be a weapon off the bench with his (for a prop) superb speed and footwork. Cunt can tackle too.

Indeed. Begs the question what will their opinions be in 3 years from now if/when the Roosters are not up there.

Yeah, pretty ideal bench middle third player. He could handle lock really well too IMO as long as he didn't have to play long minutes. Not that you're need of another lock really.

    EDIT: Re: Lawrence
