  1. Mariner CL Warrington

    Force 4-6 6-1 2*-2 Delonge
Force broke again in the second set just before the rain struck. They're going through the games in the third set, but neither player looks like threatening the other at the moment.

    Force 4-6 6-1 2-3* Delonge
Well I'm looking a little silly now, DeLonge has just broken Force! And a love game to boot, here's the action we've all been craving in this third set.

    Force 4-6 6-1 2*-4 Delonge
2*-4: Force gets a couple of points, but can't get anywhere near a break.

    Uh oh.

Looks like this could be the end.

  3. Mariner CL Warrington

    Force 4-6 6-1 3*-5 Delonge
So DeLonge will serve for the match (if he doesn't break), Force almost had a break but he threw away two break points to lose the game. He took his service game quite easily though.

    Force 4-6 6-1 5*-5 Delonge
DeLonge finds the net twice on serve, and a couple of forehands down the line puts Force back on level terms.

    Force 4-6 6-1 5*-5 Delonge
Still level here, and we'll continue until someone breaks.

    gonna be tense

    Come on Tim

  6. Mariner CL Warrington

    Force 4-6 6-1 7-6* (30-0) Delonge
Force has a nice advantage here, can he make it count?

    Force 4-6 6-1 7-6* (30-15) Delonge
The first serve is poor, but Force comes to the net after returning the second, and is made to pay with a deft lob.

    Force 4-6 6-1 7-6* (30-30) Delonge
Force's return is wide of the mark, and there his hope for DeLonge again. Ether Starris has beaten Joshua Ritchie in two sets.

    Force 4-6 6-1 7-6* (40-30) Delonge
A lovely backhand from Force is too much for DeLonge, and that's match point for Force.

    Force 4-6 6-1 8-6 Delonge
And he does it. very simple, comes to the net and this time it works. A good comeback from the Englishman, though DeLonge is again unfortunate to crash out so early in the competition.

    Never in doubt.

    Around the Courts
Joshua Ritchie and Leumas Himann have just leveled the score with Gareth Weaver and Wes Welker in the doubles, it's one set all there. Wheelson/du Toit are in the third set with Chad Dyer and Andrew James, that looks set for a tense finish over on court #3. Heath Davis has just lost to Aaron O'Neill by a rather large margin.

mine and cribbs must be an epic?

  11. Mariner CL Warrington

    Howe/Wood 1*-5 Deane/Ryabovol
Deane/Ryabovol have taken the last 5 games, this could get ugly.

    Howe/Wood 1-6 2*-0 Deane/Ryabovol
But their lead could be short lived in terms of the match, as the English pair win their first game in 7, and then break!

  12. AVA T Delonge

    Fucking dire.

  13. Weeman27bob BE Force

As if Howe could win a game, even if he is playing with rising star Wood.

  14. Mariner CL Warrington

    Howe/Wood 1-6 6-4 0*-0 Deane/Ryabovol
Nothing more of note in the second sees Howe claim his first set for a long time. Due to the length of these matches on the main court, O'Driscoll/Dyer has been moved to court #9, should be the last to finish of the day.

    Howe/Wood 1-6 6-4 2-3* Deane/Ryabovol
Ryabovol provides a couple of classy points to ward off a chance of a break of his serve, and then proceeds to win a couple of points at the net for a break of his own.

    Howe/Wood 1-6 6-4 3-6 Deane/Ryabovol
And that's the match. A further break right at the end hands Deane & Ryabovol a place in the quarters. Over to court #9 for the last match of the day.

    O'Driscoll 7-5 0-0 Dyer
O'Driscoll breaks after 5 deuces for a set win, Dyer has been surprisingly good in this match.

    O'Driscoll 7-5 3*-1 Dyer
And a break for O'Driscoll. Serve and volley doesn't appear to work for Dyer, and he's duly punished for it.

    O'Driscoll 7-5 6-3 Dyer
And that's that for the day. Results and the second round draw incoming.

Looks like a ripper of a match against FungLonge.

Gun performance in doubles, although I don't think Harding/MacDonald were the strongest opponents. Unfortunately I've got the #1 seeds next round :(
