Brisbane - Quarterfinals

Heath Davis has booked his place in the semifinals with a straight sets win over Tom DeLonge, although it was not as easy as it looked on the outset. Being the pre-match underdog, Davis came out and refuted those accusations from the off, playing an attacking brand of tennis that really got the crowd going. This didn't really bother DeLonge though, as he too had many of his own fans in the crowd (with signs and everything). The two were equal to each other, and the only time that either gained an advantage was when DeLonge broke Davis midway through the second, but that lead only lasted a couple of games before he too was broken. Davis is drawn against Marcuss Deane in the semifinal stage, who got through in straight sets ending Queenslander Reagan Wheelson's hopes of glory. In the other half of the draw, Bosh Burger threw away a comfortable one set lead against Alex O'Driscoll, and Bruce Force practically crushed Os du Toit in a match that at times made 6 Nations matches involving Italy look like contests.
