Yeah, it's been a gun effort. Very pleasantly surprised at my performances in a series I thought I'd be out of my depth in, too.
Was actually hoping before the series started that you'd shunt it, but now i'm bloody happy that you gunned it as a South Win> My ambitions getting onto the field.
I am not that surprised we won't win the series tbh. I was fairly shocked we lost game 1 because of the injuries South had but overall I wouldn't have South that far behind North. Our backline as a whole hasn't turned up this series and we haven't made our forward advantage pay.
If Escath plays so shit in Round 1 of the BS that he gets dropped to the ALC straight away, and still averages more than you, then it doesn't say a lot for how well you're going to play this season...
I think I've had a good series. An 8 and a 9. And Cambridge had some moments of magic which is good signs.
I would have said our 3 strongest so far have been you, Veri and myself. I think our back line as a whole hasn't been strong enough going forward, yourself and Cambridge have done well as you said. Hence why I saw the need for change.
