    The annual Denmark v Sweden league match is a pretty awful standard tbf. And they're top 30 nations. I would hate to think what sort of score Australia or NZ would run up against them if they were to ever qualify for a World Cup.

    First thing we have two new nations on the recent rankings list of Niue and the Philllapines. Which is cool we now have 36 ranked teams, can nearly do. A proper world cup of 32 teams lol.

    Secondly Spain beat Latvia 32-12 and now move on to face Malta and Greece in a 3 match tournement to progress.

    Original post has been updated to include more simplified results and more details about other qualifying regions which previously weren't available. Apparently Papua New Guinea have also been granted automatic qualification and could potentially host 3 matches. I've read reports saying it's done and read others saying it's only rumours at this stage in terms of them co-hosting. Would be gun if they could host 3 games though.

    Qualification is really stepping up now, I just wish Italy could get all the players that played in the world cup for them regularly

    It is nice to see but they need some big name players so they can have a superstar to look up to. Hopefully the domestic league is going from strength to strength, would be good to see them against the French league to compare

    So for the final stage of the European Qualifiers there'll be Ireland, Wales, Serbia, Russia, Italy and Spain/Malta (probably spain imo). The teams will be drawn into 2 different pools of 3 on the 5th of November with the 2 winners going straight into the WC and the 2 runners up having a play-off match to decide the final spot.
