    Game Highlights:

Canadian centre takes a shit pass over the back of his shoulder and still manages to wade through their entire backline to score in the corner although his foot went out.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TY6FvYsJlk&feature=player_detailpage#t=22s
Poor Canadian cunt getting stretchered into an ambulance with what looks like a lower limb injury. In good spirits though, must've been on the whistle.

Canadian Winger finds space on the outside and dominates the cover defending USA fullback to score in the corner.

Canadian marker decides to scuffle with the man playing the ball and the USA fullback, the most unco runner in the USA side (comp) carves up some terrible defence (one guy is doing star-jumps), to score under the post.

Nice backline movement by the Canadians is rewarded with a try to the fullback in the left corner.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TY6FvYsJlk&feature=player_detailpage#t=100s
Another good backline movement by the Canadians gets their fullback on the outside of the USA's winger, who looks like a fat woman. He then proceeds to chip ahead and chase it down. However his winger, staying true to his skin colour steals the try at the death. WAC.

Intercept try by Chris Walker for the USA who came out of retirement for this game :ninja:.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TY6FvYsJlk&feature=player_detailpage#t=141s
Strong run and try by the US centre who looks like the 16yr old who lied his way into under 12's.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TY6FvYsJlk&feature=player_detailpage#t=157s
    Nice trashtalk.

Overall it looked alright, certainly doesn't look much better than park footy as far as the standard goes.

On topic though. I think the quality of the RLWC will be shit outside of the Big 3. I cant see any above average NRL player giving up a chance at Origin/Tests for the Big 3 to play for a minnow nation. The best games I watched in the last one were by Fiji, that wont happen again though because guys like Hayne and Uate wont want to line up for them.

There's no incentive to stay with the minnows, don't cunts gte like 20g for making origin? Stand alone origin coupled with some kind of minnow tournament is the way forward I feel.

  6. Toolman TR Man

Wont they just do the same as previous world cups and let the fags play for both?

  7. Andato BJT Manera

Didn't Hayne get picked in about five teams last cup?

League over there(USA) is like gridiron over here.

What was the fullback doing when the winger runs straight into him. Should of ducked down and lifted.

  9. Magic AJ Parker

Some new youngsters will most likely come along and do the same as Hayne & Uate. More and more players are going from Fiji, Samoa etc.

Stranger things have happened buddy. We should negotiate as a package deal :p Gun centre and a gun backrower:p

I thought you were a prop?

I played everywhere in the forward pack. I basically played backrow all the way through my juniors and then I got picked for NSW Country U18's as a front rower because my U18's club team in Port Macquarie had no props and I was good defensively in the middle third, I also tend to take plenty of hitups as well as it's probably the strongest paert of my game because I have good short feet at the line to position myself between defenders and either break the line or get a quick play the ball. I really should play lock IMO, but yeah I gunned it for Port there and then made a divisional side for the Country Championships as a front rower and gunned it against Hunter and got Motm which got me a contract with Titans, and from there I got pigeonholed as a front rower and I don't mind playing there because I like the tough stuff but I'd prefer the licence to ball play that comes with playing back row and be an extra asset for hitups. The heaviest I got to was 101kg during my 2nd year on contract and I personally believe I deserved a crack in Toyota Cup ( I started the entire year for tweed U20's and kept guys who dropped back on the bench) but I never quite got the call up. I was probably a touch small for front row and not quite fast/skillful enough for the back row. They expect wide back rowers to be competitive with the centres in sprint times etc. and I was always a yard off their pace unfort.

How old are you now? Did you miss your chance to blow up? What's the story with the injury again?

I'm 20 for the next fortnight. I'm going to try and crack the Q Cup next season and go from there. I've been offerred a spot in the Tweed Q Cup squad for next season so yeah. I've just gotten back in the gym, my leg is almost 100% again now which is great. Big ass scar but yeah not too much in the way of lingering effects. I'm gunna have one more red hot crack I think then just try and collect coin at a lower club, maybe head to the Newcastle comp and work in the mines etc.

Sweet. Good luck. If you want it enough, you'll get there.

Yeah fingers crossed. Feel like asking the Broncos if they want another "Read" to do pre-season and then play every game the following season :p:lol:

Yeah you sound like a lock to me. Get super fit so you can play 80 and you'll be valuable.

  18. Benny BS Read

I played 80 when I was 17 in Port, Front Row captaincy FTW! I have always played 50 mins plus. I'm getting proper fit again. About to make a thread about it so you cunts can help me keep motivated until the pre-season proper begins.

Keen to track improvements and get advice re diet and supplements etc.

Mate showed that too me before our semi a few weeks ago, was actually pretty unimpressed with how motivational it is.
