    Italy have advanced to the RLWC 2013 on points differential after a 19-19 draw with Lebanon. Would have been a gun game to watch, especially with what was on the line. Russia finish 3rd after disposing of Serbia 38-26.

    Yeah, Italy were up 18-0 at halftime but had lost Ciraldo and Ranieri to injuries in the first half. Lebanon fired back in the 2nd half to lock the scores and take the lead with a field goal in the 77th minute but they lost possession on the short kick-off and Italy nailed the equalising field goal in the 78th.

    I'm going to discuss a few games from teams involved in the WC 2013 as they're essentially warm ups leading into the WC.

    Fiji Bati 26 def 12 PNG Kumuls

    Apparently the Kumuls chose to leave out most of their NRL players (except captain Paul Aiton) in ordee to give their youngsters more experience leading into the World Cup.
