I think something needs to be done with tackles, something like 81 missed tackles in that match yesterday.
Just looked up my last blackout game. Tackles Made = 80 Missed Tackles = 40 I don't think it's that far off, maybe the statistics are round the wrong way? The calculation is equal for all players though, so for comparability purposes it's a reasonable stat. I'll see what I can do about adjusting the stat, but I don't think it's that far off. It's the right order of magnitude at least, and there are some very aggressive attacking regos that basically give some players little to no defence. EDIT: My two previous blackout games were more like 90/70 and 100/80.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's that far off either. I just think it could do with a minor tweak.
In most rugby games 3-4 is pretty bad isn't it? 7 in one half is a bit over the top. I guess it rewards players who pick the right kind of player and the amount of posts etc though. So its fair enough in some respects.
So, you want Day vs. Night? Should put vegetables consumed on the rego - better night vision for those who pick carrots?
Haha a dietary component sounds good Just mean as as extra add on thing you could say NIGHT MATCH or something if your going to have the weather as damp, really just a nothing suggestion
Note to self: Fix Line Break tries running metres. As an additional enhancement I'm going to make, I will be adding into the individual stats who has taken the ball at the line out. Any other ideas are still welcome.
Conversion attempts/made is already in there bru. Tries/points scored is in the end of game summary, so I didn't bother putting that on the stats page. Fixed the line break error now. Will make running metres look a bit more reasonable, methinks.
Spotted another minor error. It's not counting tackles as successful when there is a penalty conceded at the ruck. Yes, the ruck hasn't been successful, but in order to have formed the ruck in the first place, the tackle must have been successful. This will only have a very small impact, but may help redress the perceived imbalance in successful/missed tackles.
