Great reason for multiple season contracts. You can make yours with the Pumas 5 seasons.

    I want a bonus of 100 for every 2 wickets I take

    What I'd be pushing for.

    • Contract lengths of minimum 1 season, maximum 2.
    • Each club is given the same amount at the beginning of the season to deal with, players cannot add funds to the clubs 'bank account' (no under the table deals can be done as members can't actually give other members vCash, Cribb/admins have to transfer it from the club kitty, which would be done as contracts are signed)
    • Cash bonuses are given to clubs for winning trophies eg Care Cup, ALC, BS, HC.
    • vCash being involved in contracts, eg can sign a big contract worth 'x' amount, another negotiating point between clubs and player.
    • Players and Members can agree clauses in contracts. Eg The second seasons contract will rise to 'y' if you take more than 'z' wickets, score more than 'x' runs, play more than 'a' games in BS etc etc. There are endless amounts of clauses that could be agreed upon, however there should probably only be one payout time which would be when the initial contract is signed, so no you'll get 'x' amount every week for how many wickets you take or if you score a hundred, as slinging around vCash all the time may be a hassle.
    • A clause in every contract over 1 season must be that the player must reach some sort of activity checkpoint other wise the contract becomes invalid.
    • The ability for clubs to come to agreements to buy a player for vCash, of course once a fee was agreed the player has to agree terms with the club and sign a contract, so nothing against he will of anyone.
    • Contracts are made public in the contracts thread, will create mad discussion.
Can probably be other things to be added, but as a rough outline.

I don't think we have enough Jews to fill up accounting roles at each club.

Also with player salaries, have a min/max depending on player skill. That way you don't have players like Wilson signing for 1 v cash a season.

    Probably already in place.

    Sounds good.

How would clubs earn vCash besides Cups and Trophies? Subbie posts and match thread post which are split 60-40 to the Home team?

Multi-season contracts could stem the flow a little if implemented correctly, although more than likely it would only be the loyal members signing on anyway, so not a lot would be achieved at any rate...

I dont like the whole vCash system.

  10. Rusty RST Downpipes

    We probably do. :p

There only people advantaged by signing multi-season contracts would be people like Jake, who wouldn't get a renewal anyway.

    DWTA.

If a club could get Wilson to stay in 1 place for more then 1 season it would be a win for them.

Its also a good way of teams showing their intent. If for example a team signs wilson eggman and weaver for 2 seasons, at the end of the first season their recruitment becomes easier because players no during season 1 that the side will have those 3 big players the next season.

  14. Ged GEC King

Weaver will sook when he doesn't get a pitch he likes and fuck off after a season.

  15. El Nino J Torres

Speirs shield should also get some kind of cash bonus.

  16. AVA T Delonge

The whole vcash thing isn't player salaries, just incentives. So not everyone needs to sign for vcash.

  17. AVA T Delonge

If the team has Eggman and Weaver I can't see them not fitting the pitch to them though. :p

  18. Gazza GJ Weaver

Gotta look after number 1 mate

  19. Ged GEC King

Weaver's only medium fast though. Eggman's fast.

As such, tailoring a fast pitch would only play to 1/3 of Weaver's attributes.....

  20. Eggman DA Eggman

We'll make it work. I can bowl on anything mate.
