    Soldado wasn't great at Valencia either tbf, but he did score a lot. I can see him getting a few more goals once he settles in but he's still very limited and Spurs got ripped off.

    He went to Valencia because he was the cheap option to replace David Villa. He's a decent finisher given the service but Spurs paid at least £15m too much for him. Speaks volumes that he doesn't get a game for Spain in front of Torres or Villa.

    I feel Torres has become pretty underrated actually.

    He's no longer the finisher he was, but the 4-2-3-1 that was employed by Chelsea didn't put him in that position either and he actually improved a lot both off the ball with the way he'd use space and as a hold-up man. Obviously you'd rather the prolific goal scorer of 07-08 times but he was actually an underrated and effective players for Chelsea last season, especially considering he played like 60 games.
