Yeah, he's just been his biased self in this thread. His ridiculous bias makes him a pretty shit troll though because people already think he's trolling when he's serious, so it's just not anywhere near subtle enough to work.
Well, I don't watch enough NH rugby to comment fairly, but given RWC showings, you'd think Wales and Ireland would probably supply more players than England. Not sure how that'd extend onwards though. Priestland, for example, was superb for Wales, but could you reasonably pick him over more tried and tested alternatives? On World Cup form, I reckon most of the pack would be Welsh and Irish, and I certainly don't think that's a fair representation of reality. The backline is probably a fair dose easier with decent competition at 9/10 as to who would get the go.
Read is awesome, I'd have in a world team. McCaw is over the hill in the form of how he used to play. He has adapted his game a fair bit imo, more a hungry tackler these days and a pick and go runner then just a royal pain at the break down. Read,McCaw,Kaino are still in the top 8 back rowers in the world
I also think that Jane would make a world XV on the wing, he just goes to another level on the international scene
Read is definitely up there. His form in the lead up to the World Cup was superb, and he was only playing at about 75% fitness when he played in the RWC.
Disagree about McCaw. I think most international selectors would pick Pocock above him these days, probably Brussow, and possibly Warburton. I mean, Dusatoir was absolutely all over him in the final... After how convincingly the English have hammered the Aussies of late, and being as we're arguably the 4th best NH side at the moment, I'm not even going to bother arguing that one.
I didn't say mccaw would make an international XV I said he'd be in the top 8 backrowers my 8 in no order Brussow,Read,Kaino,Pocock,Haranordoquay,Dusatoir,Warburton,McCaw Burger would probs be in that group aswell
Haha, only just saw this. England > Australia, and most of the English players make that team. Not sure if you're serious.
