Bollocks. If they played more, they could put a side out that could beat the All Blacks, but they don't play together, they play away from home and man-for-man the quality's pretty similar.
Hammer was a strong word I genuinely think that the All Blacks only have 2 really world beating forwards these days though, and one of those is over the hill.
As a matter of interest, what would be the national breakdown (ie. how many Englishmen, how many Scotsman etc etc) of the Lions first XV?
I didn't actually include Woodcock before, be he probably scrapes into that category. I was thinking Kaino. He's become a beast. I bet Wales would put maybe 9 players in, although that would be quite a fickle way of doing it based mostly on the world cup. Before that, I reckon it would have been a fairly even split between England, Ireland and Wales, with just one or two from the Scotland side.
You're biased though. I'd be interested in what Heath thought, although I guess he'd be theoretically biased towards Wales. I certainly don't care what Veri thinks.
I would include Owen Franks and Read. Both automatic selections now and arguably the best players in the world in their respective positions. Whitelock is getting there too.
Franks isn't, and Whitelock definitely isn't. Read is getting there, but he wouldn't start in a Lions side.
How suprising is Fiery's rating of the ABs vs the Lions?! The only one we won, was because of the "benefit of the doubt", which only means that it was his poor attempt not to seem biased. Just lol @ fiery generally tbh. And his lol @ his reasoning for calling Veri dumb, was because of his poor spelling
