This is the key. Pocock won them the game against South Africa, really. He's come on leaps and bounds in the last 12 months or so, and just seems to get better.
really? I thought North was average at the world cup, whereas Jane was exceptional. Like wise I thought Roberts had a good world cup, Nonu went missing abit to often Jane just offers so much. I'd take him everyday of the week over North
1.Tony Woodcock- Jenkins 2.Kevin Mealamu- Ford 3.Owen Franks- Jones 4.Brad Thorn- O' Connell 5.Sam Whitelock- Lawes 6.Jerome Kaino- O' Brien 7.Richie McCaw- Warburton 8.Kieran Read- Faletau 9.Piri Weepu- Phillips 10.Daniel Carter- Hook 11.Richard Kahui- Ashton 12.Ma'a Nonu- Roberts - if you go on ability it is nonu, rwc would be roberts 13.Conrad Smith- Tuilagi 14.Cory Jane- North 15.Israel Dagg- Foden red- deffo better blue- marginally better as a team it may be different, but imo individually this is how I rate them
Fair play on having the guts to rate Warburton above McCaw. My selection of Ford at hooker was pretty much just because I like him I can see why you'd rate Woodcock as marginally better than Jenkins...that's probably fair. I don't think Read is 'deffo better' than either Faletau or Heaslip even. Anyway, like I said, player by player comparisons like this are the wrong way to do it. North is better than Jane in heavy traffic, but worse in acres of space, so you have to ask how the game would pan out in the context of other players.

He has the skills of a full back whilst having great awareness of where he is in relation to the sideline. You hardly ever see him taken into touch because if there's traffic he utilises his kicking game or his fend, which happens to be one of the best around.
Don't worry about Pocock. The ABs showed everyone in the world how to stop him in the semi final. Just make him make bloody near 40 tackles!
Have a look at the date- its a year ago. The Aussies would smoke you now, There is absolutely no way you can be serious in thinking England are better than Aus.
Post makes absolutely no sense and only strengthens the idea of you being an idiot lolwat, they're being biased against Northern Hemisphere rugby as a whole, when have I just mentioned England when arguing in this thread about the British Lions strength in comparison to lawlblacks Stupid post
Yeah, the best managers are usually the ones who weren't quite up there as players, tbh. Also, FTR, I hope it's Mallinder.
Replace "England" with "Britain" in that post in all instances and it still holds true. The idea that a New Zealander must be biased towards an Australian in sport is probably the most ridiculous thing you've ever posted. Everyone is biased against the team(s) you support. Massive conspiracy. lol.
I'd say it's sensible to suggest that New Zealanders will tend to rate Australians in rugby more highly because they play together in the Super 15 week in week out, so it becomes a matter of overrating the whole league compared to say the English Premiership.
I don't think you'd find a single Englishman that would say that as a whole English rugby is of a higher standard than NZ rugby.
yeah, I'd say I am guilty of this. Lack of exposure ftl mind you when people like Stephen Donald start ripping up your competition despite the fact they were shunts in our comp you have to wonder
