Fast assistance of like 8 will still give him like 2.5 + medium though. And just out medium at like 7.
Nah, this can fuck right off. There's no way I'd want to see us miss out on a player because I can't sign for less. I'd prefer to have my own player as a shit cunt than to miss out on decent members.
I agree with this if a player is happy to forgo a payment for the good of the club, good on them. But I still want good money :ninja:
It would be pretty retarded to prepare a bowling pitch with that bowling lineup; it'd just neutralise their strength. They're going to have a strong, well balanced team so they should probably just recreate NRLM Oval to avoid condition-aided fluke performances from shunts.
Have to say that I don't get why an individual would sign a multiple season contract. It's skewed in favour of the Team not the individual. I guess if you had shit loads of release clauses then okay, but then it's not really worth its salt as a multiple season contract.
Well it does prove your commitment, and it lets the club plan around you long term. If I had someone at my club who wanted to sign a three-season contract I'd be less likely to go out and sign players that would compete with them for their spot - firstly for loyalty sake and secondly for the pure fact that I'd know we wouldn't be weak in that area for a few seasons and would be better off targeting other areas.
That only counts for people at the top end, really. I can't see how that benefits an ALC player, really. Plus, I feel you probably think about such things a little more than your average HoR.
I reckon that rather than anything else, Cricsim as an entity just rewards multiple season contracts with vcash as a way of bringing loyalty in.
Multi-season contacts could have a lot of promises, like you will play at least 4 BS games in your second season (barring injury). Or the contract could just be worth more than any other, the club willing to spend more on a player that they know won't leave them hanging next season.
That sort of thing is banned from negotiations here completely, because I feel it causes disingenuous selection at times. You have to pick your best team at all times and I don't want that to be compromised in any way.
I just think that the whole notion of a club spending vcash is a false economy. As referenced by teh all in bets, no one really cares that much about vcash. I don't think that it would sway me to go to one club over another. If I was 90% certain I'd sign back on for another season after the one I'm signing for anyway, I'd probably sign for two and take 10000 vcash though.
Then make every victory worth something to the club instead of meddling in team selection policies IMO.
