WANTED: Members with basic computer knowledge, no lives and a love of this site

  1. Cribbage RG Cribb

    Basically, I'm looking for people who may be interested in running, or helping with the running of:

    - CricSim
    - CPL Cricket
    - RLSim

    Doing the day-to-day running of all three myself would be impossible. I need people with a bit of time on their hands in a situation that isn't likely to change who can generally navigate folders/notepad files etc who'd be interested in this.

    Edit: Because we all know that by the time the draft for CPL Football finishes, another season would have passed and we'll need another draft.

    Basically.. create match threads, sim games and post results. RLSim would be particularly easy for someone to do that for once I finished making the sim.

    As I said in the Spartans subforum, I'd like to see my future on this site being primarily coding and organisation based. I think this site as a whole could be made significantly better with infinitely faster progress if I didn't have to sim much, but oversaw the organisation and coding of everything. If I didn't have to sim any games, we'd have one day cricket, live simming, rugby league sim, stats site improvements etc back in no time. I'd like to do *some* simming in all those of those sims I listed above, but not all or even most of it. I want to be able to set people up with stuff and then delegate.

    I'm pretty keen to help out on the cricket side of things, whether it be cricsim or CPL. Seeing as I come on everyday I reckon I would get shit done.

    I reckon I could do an alright job regarding this (no life ftw), but I have activity problems (can't get online on weekdays from 8:30am-10pm), so...

    I have heaps of spare time (when I don't have assignments) on weekends though.

    Yeah, it still doesn't even spit out scorecards properly. If I didn't have to sim any games it'd give me more time to do things like that though. I see my future on the site more in doing things like making the OD sim user-friendly than simming loads. I think it's time for me to let my baby go a little bit and let people sim, even as a shared thing.
