    Alternatively Cooper --> Fullback and Barnes --> First Five would be good (or just cooper out of the side in general) but then again cooper's defence is too weak i guess.

    Well, Cooper defends at fullback so there's not much of a change there. It's just a matter of whether you trust Barnes to step up and control the game in a semi-final with limited international experience.

    Yeah the idea behind Deans's thinking is that if we hold NZ out in the backs, then JOC will be able to kick enough penaltys to get us over the line. Defense is the best form of attack. Lets be honest though, Faingaa is a woeful attacker - he can't pass and can't run but the guy bloody well can tackle.
