I suppose Boobidy did have a valid point, that if a team hasn't created a test side yet, then it's not going to happen. I can't see how it'd work, although I still think that multiple season contract might work.
You don't have to sign a multiple season contract FFS. WTF DOES THE ****ING WORD OPTIONAL MEAN TO YOU ****S
Pssht, I already had access last time. Plus, I'd take me 10 seasons to accum. enough points to get in there.
I wasn't saying optional, I was saying a multiple. Basically so the situation at the Stingrays doesn't happen again, we signed up a good 1st season squad but people are now on their way out, so we could struggle next season. I never mentioned the word OPTIONAL in my last post did i?
I'm going to throw out the idea of instead of having a cap of money allocated. Each team is given an amount of sim point that can be spent on players to improve them This gives players an incentive to go to a club who is offering them a certain amount of points to be spent on them if they join and can allow for loyalty by one of the better players agreeing to not have any points spent on them for the betterment of the team In an effort to stop clubs lumping the majority of their points onto 1 player to make him gun to fill a gap in their squad, limit the amount of points that are allowed to be allocated to each player so that clubs are forced to spread the points out between all players. You could even give seperate allocations for players in each competition. Say those in ALC are given 15 points and the BS players are given 10 with a limit of 5 per player Clearly im just pulling numbers out of my arse but hopefully you see the point im trying to get across. The same idea of limiting the amount of points given to each player can still be applied to the other idea that was given a few pages back
That idea has already been rejected by Cribb. He said he's not going to mess with the simming averages.
Fair enough. I was kinda half responding to the below post and half putting forward something i hadn't seen addressed in the thread
Fair enough, though I thought that my idea did address some of the problems. It was more to do with what Ged had mentioned anyway.
