I disagree with a salary cap and came up with a shit way of potentially making it work. So thought I'd post it for everyone to tell me how shit it is. Player Auctions - Player gets to chose 3 clubs that he'd join, these 3 clubs bid on the player, you'd have to come up with a plan to make sure you didn't go over your budget, else you'd face penalties and the like.
Isn't shit tbh. But the way we have it atm is far better. If one club dominates, and another club can't attract the players, then it folds, simple.
TBH if we could find a way of this working without it hampering youngsters coming through and is relatively manageable then it'd be a great idea! However that will be almost impossible IMO. Also I think it's good for the competition to have strong teams and weak teams. A bit of variation makes the game more enjoyable rather than everyone having x amount of good players and x amount of average players.
Tbh the "strong" clubs aren't neccesarily going to be the same next season anyway with the Carbonators taking from the big teams.
Who cares if a club dominates? I've always believed teams should be built on loyalty, and that's what I tried to do with the Allstars (and succeeded ). And this pretty much goes against loyalty a lot of the time. Just let players play for whatever team they want.
Exactly its good seeing a team dominate then fail miserably, and then re build and dominate again, its all a cycle.
