    Like Eds said, that's the beauty of it. That's my opinion. Randomness isn't a huge factor. If you're good enoguh to make the final you're good enough to win the comp. That's just my take on it.

    But I think probably 1 because best of 3 finals aren't really done for anything in cricket.

    I voted yes. I think it gives a better showing for who the best team actually is. Leave one off games to the shorter formats of cricket IMO. If they started playing one off Test matches it would be balls IMO, however, Test series are good.

    Can't believe how everyone is comparing this to a test series or an origin series etc. We have a fucking round robin competition where everyone plays everyone twice and your spot in the final is earnt. It isnt a one off match between 2 teams who decided to play against each other ffs.

    I don't see any advantage to this. If you want the best team of the season to win then surely the best method is to just have the Minor Premiers win the BS. If you want a final with all the buzz and excitement it brings then the best method is a one off match.
