I honestly think Granville or Bond could do well for us from the bench. I think they would offer a lot more than Hunt can. I am a fan of Hunt and want to see him do well but he needs to go to QLD Cup and play in the halves.
Yeah, even a newborn babby would find it obvious that Hunt is not a hooker. I have no idea why we are both ruining his career by continuously giving him ~20min stints at hooker and he's ruining the side because he doesn't belong there.
Us not signing people isn't Griffin's fault. I've got major concerns if he made Thaiday captain though.
I think Alec was more saying Griffin would be sacked than that he should be. If Brisbane don't have a good year then he's gone IMO, regardless of if it's his fault or not.
Yeah, this. Though he seems to be painfully inept as an attacking coach too. I think Lockyer acted as one back in 2011. My biggest concern would be that they promote Kearney as head coach.
I read a week or so ago of Bennett coming back next year but White since then has dispelled such rumours.

Got a good laugh out of that. I've always thought it's a joke that he's talked up as an Origin player. I mean yeah maybe in 5 years time but he's miles from it now. Getting caught by the markers alone means he shouldn't even be talked about. He's gotta get that out of his game.
Thaiday should just give up captaincy. He even admits he can't handle it. I have no idea why he was even named as one.
I actually thought Dodds looked good in some of his runs last night, an element of his game he lacked the last couple of years.
Between his dog acts, defence and now this, Thaiday has all the likability of leukemia. Mind you he didn't really have a full on go at Dodds but yeah bad form to single out a player for one missed tackle. Especially when Thaiday's last 18 months has been riddled with misses and half attempts exactly the same in nature.
