They are making inroads every time they get the ball but they keep coming right. Where the fuck were the chasers on Stagg's kick?
I only watched about 10 minutes, but fuck the Brisbane attack was boring, they're getting easy go forward, because the Roosters are defending weakly, but they're not looking like breaking the line at all, lots of passes to flat footed players, or players clearly standing in the wrong spots.
They saying Broncos are down on troops, is there another side in the comp that falls to bits if they lose 1 prop and 1 outside back?
That's probably one of the worst performances in Brisbane's history IMO. Yeah it was only 8 - 0, but you had 60% of the possession and couldn't even score a point.
Yeah MF was right here, I've vastly over-rated where Brisbane are at at the moment in attack. Easts played exactly as I expected them to but FMD Brisbane were bad. McCollough, Hunt and Prince need shooting. You blokes whinge about Wallace and Norman but they were by far your best spine players tonight - not that they were that good, mind you, but the other three were laughable. The service from dummy half was some of the worst I've ever seen. Hooker coaching at the Broncos: take three steps sideways and throw a hospital pass. Over and over and over. Occasionally you may go blind on the fourth tackle when on the attack when there's nothing doing or have a very predictable crack yourself at the line. I really like Prince, and I'd love to be able to just give him a free pass because of the terrible service - and it certainly didn't help - but he was just as bad if not worse. For a couple of years now he's had absolutely no physical presence - no strength, no pace, no step - but he's held it together with his skill and I thought it was something that could help the Broncos quite a bit. I thought he actually had quite a good season last year, adapting his game to his declining running ability which saw him have a very poor 2011. But tonight was a complete joke of a performance. He'll be lucky to make first grade next week.
Yes the Broncos threw absolutely nothing at us in attack but I'm sorry there is no way in the last 4 years we would have not somehow managed to let in points. I'm happy with the fact that when we were under so much fucking pressure, making 120 more tackles and having 10 less sets we still kept our defensive structure for the 80 minutes and everyone slid and scrambled and covered when needed. Last year Brisbane would have won that 13+ In saying that, still giving away possession way too easily and still fucking giving away stupid penalties. Moa is fucking gun and JWH gave away stupid penalties and errors but FMD has he improved big time in his hitups. Kennedy yet to make 10m a hit up this year lol. Tasi made his return today for Newtown heard he went well. Looking forward to his return.
