    If Dave's a rep opener, then so is Dafter...After your impressive top 5, it really does fall away fast.
    On top of this, I haven't seen any team in the last 5 seasons have successful seasons with the bat when they don't have a person that can at least hold the bat at 8.

    O'Driscoll at 5 is not impressive. Good keeper-bat but should never bat 5.

    The Gamblers have the most gun top 4 but one of the worst 5-11.

    Dave is still an excellent batsman. In the last 6 or so seasons, his only poor one was S7.

    Faggot, I know that they're not at the same level. My point was that Dave is only a current rep player as the reserve batsman, as is Dafter for GB. So saying rep player skews it.

    Yeh. I didn't say he was definately going to be crappy.

    Davis is inactive which is why I think he is more likely to be on a general decline. Saying that hes started the PC well.
