But you are saying you have a better batting line-up. Even if we don't sign Downpipes, your 5,6 and 7 aren't that much better than ours. Nothing that will close the gap that our top 4 created.
If Rusty was to sign with you, you'd undoubtedly have the best batting in the comp. However, we would not be that weakened and our 5 - 7 would be better. We'd end up running with stormer at 3 and big man at 6 in all likelyhood. B man averaged 40 with us last season and is on the rise. I've got no problems with him coming in. We'll still have one of the best 3 batting teams in the comp and with our bowling we should make the finals.
I actually reckon that ranking the bowling would be fairly interesting. As undoubtedly top 3 in both, 2nd bowling for sure, you've gotta be favourites. Meanwhile the Vipers just have consistency across the board.
