    Looking forward to getting all troops back on deck, we've done really well to compete in all games this year and eek out the two wins.

    Wallace has been doing a good job, but I still think we're lacking a threatening runner in the spine. Hiku has been better than I expected, the saw and DWZ running outside of him and Whare gets me fairly hard.

    When did Ronnie Palmer get there? Seemed Titans couldn't get all their stars on the paddock at once for a few years, then Palmer left them and came to us and we've been cursed ever since.

    I've got no idea how much impact/input he has on every aspect of training and player management, but there's a correlation there somewhere

    I'm pretty keen to see how this Hardaker signing turns out. I've long thought it nonsense that Moylan should shift to five-eighth but after the Origin series I think that might be his future. Could be a real step forward for Penrith but they'll probably just play him at centre.

    Really happy we've signed the Saw, but think we've tied way too much up in Tamou. Hardraker will be interesting, I've heard he's a massive pisshead and I'm not totally convinced we need him ($ pending), we really need to hang on to what we've got and get a decent run with injuries, although I suppose Sowie buggering off will free up some monies.


    We also need to throw the fucking book at Cartwright. I'd sooner all Tamous money have gone to him in upgrades and us play Ben Czilowski at prop for the next 5 years than think of a Panthers without him.

    I've promised myself not to judge him too harshly until he's had an offseason here, but from what I've seen of him in England and so far in the NRL, I don't think he's going to be a fullback here. Could be a good centre/winger though. Elford probably a good comparison really -- makes good defensive decisions, fast hands on sweeping catch-and-pass backline movements and a strong runner but without the footwork or exceptional size/pace to create something from nothing.

    He has deadset bombed certain tries with selfish plays however. Even his try v Brisbane wasn't a sure thing and he didn't have any consideration to draw and pass to his unmarked winger.

    Been very impressed with our depth yet again and the fact that we're nestled in the 8. Had you have told we me would had the following out of our best 17 for a large chunk of the season there's no way I would have thought we'd be competing for Finals:

    Reagan Campbell Gillard
    Sam McKendry
    James Segeyaro
    Jamie Soward
