    Well if that's how we played the last two weeks I'm not surprised we lost. We need to start slowing the play the balls down, other teams are getting away with murder and we need to as well. Our attack looks average too, constantly doing the same two or 3 plays and if they don't come off we don't bother changing it, we just try them for 80 minutes. Defence is also getting lazy when plays break down.

    Good to get the win last night, fuck Manly are shitty, heaps of ball and high completion rate against an injury hit Penrith side and still couldn't get a win. I watched the game on tiny little laggy screen, did Plum or Taylor start in the second row?

    Pretty sure Taylor started with Plum off the bench. Taylor looks like he picked up a knee injury last night and could be missing for a while, same as Idris.
    Good win but a costly one.

    Might actually be Will Smith in the centres as the balance is all over the shop. Does seem like Whare might be good next week. What has Wal done? I was pretty happy with Isaac Johns kicking game last night.

    Early days but I quite like the look of Blake, I don't mind the idea of he and Whare as our centres and Idris off the bench.

    Pretty sure Brown is back in 2~ weeks. Not sure on Taylor.

    I've made the ambitious prediction that Idris will never play NRL again.

    What do you think of Soward and Korisau as your future half pairing?

    I don't know a lot about Korisau, but he seems to have more to him than Iasac John....and John I think fits the team better than Wallace.

    There was spark against Manly that you don't see in the attack when Wallace is there.

    Api isn't a half in my opinion. Could be a very good dummy half if given the chance though - bummer he is stuck behind Segyaro.

    I haven't watched a game for 2 months, but I can't see how DWZ would fit into our structure at all in the number 1. Despite his past failings there I think I'd be throwing Whare back there.

    I haven't watched a full game since round 5 (been overseas for 2.5 months) but from what I've been told DWZ doesn't fit well at fullback yet Wallace is copping all the hate. Fair assessment?

    He was surprisingly good last season when he was on the paddock. Far too interrupted this season to make anything of it though.

    Sad news. I still have faith in ol' red though. Might finally get around to watching the game this weekend. Shame that we've only had our spine on the park together for a few games this year.

    Plenty of players have been below par, but constant injuries are making it tough for any players to settle and get used to playing together, especially when the spine is different most weeks, and rarely at full strength.
