    If Owen went to Liverpool they'd be even worse. I rated the guy pretty highly... 3 years ago. Now, no, next year, no some more. Arsenal will be the next winners after United and it will be a two horse race for years to come.

    Fact is Rafa needs to invest in a DECENT right midfielder, Pennant was a dud who he stuck by for far too long and El Zhar IMO is far from good enough to start for us any time soon. Kuyt, while a great player isn't a midfielder and lacks the technical ability of an out and out winger. IMO if we invest in someone who plays with a bit of flair and creativity we will do a lot better. That being said, Keane was a flop and if he hadn't have been maybe we would have been in a better situation come the business end of the season.

    Liverpool could do well signing Alves. Pretty decent from what i've seen of him.

    Can't believe Southgate hasn't been chopped yet, shittest manager ever....

    Yea agreed that Liverpool's Right side is the problem. The left has always been good, Kewell, Riise and others... Whilst no one has been good on the right...

    Reira is a right midfeilder IIRC and he IS gun

    Nah Ramos is an excellent manager, as was proven at his time at Sevilla.

    Things just didn't work out at Spurs. Language barrier, man management problems, lack of trust, shit signings ... whatever it was, it just didn't work. These things happen.

    Latest rumours to come out of the English newspapers:

    - Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is interested in a move for Olympique Lyonnais striker Karim Benzema after being priced out of a move last summer.

    - Aston Villa appear to be frontrunners in the 6-club race for Leeds United midfielder Fabian Delph.

    - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has rejected an ambitious bid from Bayern Munich to install him as their new manager.

    - Southampton will go out of business in eight day unless they find a buyer.

    - Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley will be forced to sell the club at a cut price 120 million pounds, should the club be relegated from the Premier League.

    • Aston Villa and Blackburn are interested in sigining Valencia's serbian Nikola Zigic
    • Rafeal has signed a new 2 year contract with Manchester utd.
    • Richard Dunne has admitted he wants to stay at Eastland, quoting "I definitely want to stay here and be part of the club as it pushes forward. I'm sure every player here feels the same"
