    You'd think FfC and DwD would make up two seasons. There's no way you can have the tv show "ignore" half the characters for a full season.

    I haven't. Been watching the show first, I enjoy it that much. First time I've done it like this, but it's been alright.

    They'd obviously be put together, go chronologically rather than martins spastic method.
    But still if SoS takes 2 seasons, FfC & DwD together would be 3 at least

    Probably not too much of an issue as the books are spread over quite a period of time.


    Just bought the first 2 series, so might rewatch them before moving onto 3, like to let a series get a few episodes in so I don't have to wait weekly from the off to get into it.

    Thing is, not a massive fan of the books, great idea, not exactly brilliantly executed, and frustrating to fuck that you can go 2 books and still the story goes fucking nowhere.

    Wtf, you can't tell me that the story goes nowhere in A Storm of Swords ffs. Sure that may be true for A Feast for Crows and A Dance With Dragons but to say nothing happens in the first 3 books...

    The story actually gets interesting at this point though. The Unsullied coming into it is gun. It's just that after this book it never actually goes anywhere after finally gaining some momentum.
