    Does the bowling rank take into account the bowlers roles etc? So people who don't get to bowl at the death and are seen as more of a containing bowler not punished?

    Fair point. Bowling in OD needs to factor in more than average. Economy rate should also be included in some way if possible.

    Yeah, for someone like me who doesn't pick up wickets and is more of a middle overs bowler I can see myself getting screwed over against people who open and bowl at the death. I'm sure Rob has thought of that though.

    It doesn't 'know' which part of the innings you've bowled in, but economy counts for just as much if not more than wicket taking, so it should all even out. That's why Chung is so high for example.

    Probably best to try and compare yourself to others who play similar roles on the lists though. So if we have a look at the bowling rankings down to your name:

    1. DT Petrucci - 4.94
    2. ML Martyn - 15.63
    3. HT Davis - 19.24
    4. SIA Yates - 19.65
    5. JHF Howe - 19.75
    6. JH Ridd - 20.93
    7. MP Chung - 20.95
    8. WC Welker - 21.02
    9. AJ James - 21.60
    10. GR Smith - 22.10
    11. JJ Ritchie - 22.67
    12. SA Flack - 22.97
    13. RS Hutchinson - 23.01
    14. AD Funkotron - 23.11
    15. CL Ank - 23.37
    16. GJ Weaver - 23.94

    And then take out the guys who will no doubt be n00b0wned out of it:

    1. HT Davis - 19.24
    2. JHF Howe - 19.75
    3. JH Ridd - 20.93
    4. MP Chung - 20.95
    5. WC Welker - 21.02
    6. AJ James - 21.60
    7. GR Smith - 22.10
    8. JJ Ritchie - 22.67
    9. SA Flack - 22.97
    10. RS Hutchinson - 23.01
    11. AD Funkotron - 23.11
    12. GJ Weaver - 23.94

    I've bolded the middle overs bowlers. So you're the second best seam bowler who doesn't bowl at the death and the fourth best middle overs bowler overall. Not bad at all considering you could also bat 7 at a pinch.
