No tomatoes as I only watch rep football and the nrl playoffs so my out of date opinion on mannering is that he is does nothing particularly right and nothing particularly wrong. International football and rugby for that matter will allow you to have a successful career if you simply don't fuck up like ever. And he fits that bill even if the number of off loads he does is rarer than hens teeth. He looked like he was just keeping up with the speed of play last time I saw him so I would say from an incumbency perspective he is likely to be there. then again Stephen Kearney is picking the team so who knows.
No he wouldn't displace any of the Raiders back 5. The only reason any cunt thinks he's a decent player is because he's on the end of the backline of the best team in the competition. Backlines he wouldn't be able to crack into at full strength: North Queensland Canberra Canterbury Penrith Manly
He'd make Dogs and Panthers for sure. Flip of the coin for the other 3. And I'm not really a big fan of Kahu, even though his kick returns have vastly improved this year.
Which one of those 25 players would make way for Jordan Kahu? You'd have to look up team lists to even find out who at least half of those players would be.
Moylan DWZ Whare Hiku Mansour are all way better pretty obviously IMO as are Morris Perrett Morris Hopoate Rona
He would piss into a Raiders, Manly, Bulldogs and Panthers side. Just like he pisses into the top side of the comp. He has been in great form this season. Pay attention.
He pisses into the side because he is better than Lachlan Maranta and Greg Eden. Hardly a great accomplishment. Kahu and Glenn are the Broncos weakest links, and funnily enough they're both kiwis.
So he'd be first reserve at Penrith then. He'd be fighting for those spots yeah but the other two (especially Rona) are better IMO.
Perrett has been in rare form this year. I've never rated the cunt but he's been randomly gun. Kahu would make Canterbury's side atm because BMoz is injured but at full strength I think I'd probably leave him out. He's a decent first grader but nothing special. NZ are definitely struggling for centre depth though; it's by far their weakest position at the moment.
Perrett always gets a bad rap on here. He's had a bloody good career and seems to be on peak form this season.
He's someone I dislike because of how much I hated him at fullback and how he managed to get talked up there by some.
