1-6 in Hiku's case. Maybe Leuluai might be a better option than him though. I will probably tweak my lineup a bit tbf

SKD at 5? He doesn't have the pace...has he been playing there recently for his club?

I like the idea of TL starting at 9, he really adds something from a defensive perspective and amongst all Kiwis he gets the most fired up for tests against Aussie because of his Dad's legacy.

Yeah fair enough. Depends what you want. Leuluai is the safer option, Nikorima has more chance of breaking the game open and plays for the Broncos.
SKD is a good winger, probably NZ's best.

Inglis' biggest problem these days is he's a fucking pleb. His attitude is fucking disgusting. Doesn't give a fuck and it shows in his football. Gotten worse every year but this year it's hit a new low.

Tim Simona Magic? Really? Hadn't even considered him tbh.

Isaac Liu is another player I hadn't even considered for the Kiwis tbh, Magic.

Is it just because he's a Rooster? ;) (Like Boobidy's Nikorima pick)

SKD has been playing on the wing for the last year and a bit. It's definitely his best position.

Took him some time to get going there last year but towards the back end of the season and the start of this season he's been a beast. I think he's arguably the best yardage maker in the game at the moment for three-quarters on play 2 & 3 carries.

I fucking lol at all these NZ teams picked by SFAPs here that don't include Vatuvei on the wing too.

I hope some old school scraps break out at the Anzac test.

Look at the players Aussie had in this video from 1985, Kenny, Lewis, Stirling...to name a few.

That's because you have no idea though.

Kevin Tamati gave Dowling a bloody good hiding there, that's for sure.

And look at Steve Roach getting a cheap shot in when Tamati was being held by another Aussie player at the start of that clip. (Filthy dingo cunt.)

I'm considering making a change to include him actually. Was just pointing out the fact to Alex who said "Mannering and Harris can both play centres, you don't need backs on the bench". He wasn't even in my 17.

My team was named off the top of my head in about 5 minutes after Hurricane asked me what it would look like, so there are probably a few changes I need to make.

(And I definitely know more about NZ rugby league than any of you fuckwits tbh)

There's just an embarrassment of riches for the Kiwis to chose from at the moment tbh. I haven't even mentioned guys like Solomona Kata, Eastwood and Lewis Brown. Just can't fit 'em all in.

...and I've had to leave Kevin Proctor out. FMD.

Should play the Anzac test on Anzac day, going to a while before they name the teams for a May 6th kick off.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Liu, being a Rooster probably didn't hurt but I like him because he's pretty unique in what he offers as a middle third forward. He's complimented the Roosters power game perfectly for a few years now and he can just as easily do the same for a Kiwi forward pack similar in nature.

You didn't need to. They're all well down the pecking order.

18. Fiery GR Smith

Maybe so...but all top players. Don't think Kata would be too far down the order tbh. And Lewis Brown is a great bench option

Lewis Brown would do very well at international level. His play is suited to it.
