Yeah no doubt Cronk has to be picked for consistency sake etc and there's absolutely no way he won't be picked IMO but if I was picking all the teams from the start he wouldn't have been groomed for the role, wouldn't have been part of the team on the bench etc in the first place.

Still so gun compared to anything NSW can muster. Superiority in every position. And at hooker, by daylight.

Looking at NSW's options, frankly they have to find room for Stewart and Hayne IMO. They're too good to be left out.

  3. Old Mate M Perry

Nsw must be devo they don't have McCullough. Could really set up a lovely half/hooker combo with Wallace.

    Prince is useless .

It'd be very hard to drop Soward but man, Carney is definitely NSW's best option IMO.

Hayne will be the NSW five-eighth in 2012 (for at least one game).

    Heard it here, first.

    I'll be happy with that.

Yeah me too. Would prefer Carney or Campese with Hayne at the back, but Hayne would do fine as long as we didn't pick Mullen at halfback.

    Pearce'd have to be it.

    1.Dugan
    6.Hayne
    7.Pearce
    9.Ennis/Farah

    Pretty fucking shit IMO.

    Better than this year's team.

  13. Alec AD Funkotron

Only cause of Dugan being there over Minichello. Soward has been better than Pearce.

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Better than the Game 3 team sure, because of Minichiello. It's no better than Game 1 and 2 IMO.

  15. Cribbage RG Cribb

Dugan > Dugan for 1 game and Minichiello for 2
    Ennis+Gidley or Farah+Gidley > Young+Ennis for 1 game, Ennis+Gidley for 1.5 games and just Gidley for half a game

And whether or not Hayne is/will be a better five-eighth than Soward, he will definitely complement Pearce a lot better than Soward did. Those two are really unsuited to playing with each other IMO.

Whether or not Soward is better than Pearce isn't the point at all because Pearce isn't replacing Soward; Hayne is.

I don't think it'll happen anyway - not for Game I in any rate.

Minichiello actually played Game II as well.

If that team you named plays all three games (which I doubt), it'll be an improvement on what happened this year IMO.

Or better yet, Walsh. I reckon a Walsh/Hayne partnership would be pretty fucking good. He'll have Gu pushing his barrow next season no doubt and the Roosters will probably continue to be shit so it certainly isn't out of the question.
