Personally I wouldn't take too much advice from that site (it's a bit crappy)

I think Vertrabal Column means (I think) players they perceive to be important and it bases tactics around those players (half back rings a bell as one of them) Not exactly sure, there's a thread in the BR clubrooms about the site, it'll be on there. Personally I wouldn't recommend using the site, it's good for tracking and getting tips here and there.

Nah it'd work perfectly fine with iTunes and if it didn't you can restore and it'll be basically brand new.

If you don't want to use it to download apps, then the main benefit is the small tweaks it can provide to the user experience, but you seem pretty fine with what you have at the moment, and at any rate you can get most of them by upgrading to iOS 5.

It's not really harmful at all though so if you want to jailbreak to play Pokemon, it's not really going to have any detrimental effects. I found on my iPhone however that because I installed so many tweaks it would use up battery a decent bit faster. And for some reason I lost signal a bit more but I think that was more unique to my phone rather than to jailbreaking in general.
