    But both were standing over the ball - which was my point. It's far less likely that Rooney would go to the keepers right than it is for RVP to go to the keepers left. You wouldn't have to get crazy curl at all - simply enough dip. It's really not difficult to see, and I don't see why you can't understand it. I said that the keeper wasn't great, but he wasn't as bad as you're making out.

    The Movement of united players played a significant part but before that the wall jumped making the keeper sense the ball is coming to his left so he moved a foot to his left.. then the players movement in front of him made the ball hidden from his sight until the ball raised above the moving players... All together these made him out of balance to move towards his right...

    Can't really see anything other than Madrid v Bayern assuming they don't meet in the semis and likewise Benfica v Juventus in Europa.

    In terms of it sets up potential Semi of Real, Barca, PSG and Bayern. What they would have hoped.

    Reckon we're a decent chance. Despite being reduced to 10 men we almost beat Bayern earlier in the year until they scored with the very last play of the game to send it to penalties. We seem to play well against the good teams.

    I don't see Chelsea as contenders at all tbh. This Chelsea side is much worse than the Madrid side Mourinho had last year.

    Barca, Bayern and Madrid would all beat them comfortably i reckon. They may get through PSG though

    Chelsea do usually put in a pretty good effort against the best sides, so I do see them as contenders. Probably have them a rung below Bayern and Real though. Matic is a big loss for the European games.
