    I think we could beat Barca, especially if Mou can stifle Messi a bit like we've done in the past, but I don't really see any way of stopping Madrid or Munich. Just too good around the park.

    But hey, we did it with RDM so no reason to believe we won't randomly cheese our way through.

    I'm backing up Riddy, Jose has won two European cups, throw in a few semi finals as well, he knows how to get results, fuck, throw in them epic games against Liverpool, could've been different. They've got an excellent first XI, capable of beating any teams and importantly, knowing how to get a result, park the bus etc

    I fancy Chelsea to get pass PSG tbh and then you'll never know.

    I agree with what he says too. Doesn't mean they'd beat Barca or Bayern though. Sure you can beat PSG (60/40ish on that one myself) but after that I wouldn't fancy your chances. Vs Barca or Bayern though, nah.

    Why not? Of course they won't be favourites, but its not like they're a shit team.

    Great defence, balance midfield, special players in Hazard, Oscar etc, ans of course Jose

    Only thing they're missing is a great striker but Etoo has stepped it up

    I'm not saying they're better than Real Madrid, Bayern, Barca, but I wouldn't be surprised if over two legs they would beat this type of quality.

    I don't see how people are saying we don't stand a chance against Bayern when we almost beat them with 10-men earlier in the season with pretty much the same squads.

    Chelsea's midfield is pretty poor without Matic.

    Vs Arsenal was a great example of how important he is. He provides the link between midfield and attack far more effectively than anyone else along with being a physical force that very few can match.

    A central midfield consisting of a combination of Ramires/Mikel/Lampard/Luiz nowadays will just be so ineffective against teams like Bayern, Barca, Madrid that I can't really see us getting past the semis.
