Would be a good career move, I might actually rate him under Hassler.

Off contract end of 2015, so obviously it'd have to be a release. Don't see it happening personally.

Sandow is broke. Gambled and lost his 550k on the pokies, off to rehab

  4. Old Mate M Perry

    Lol, dumb coon.

  5. Benny BS Read

Heading to rehab near Port Mac

I wonder if he'll play the pokies at the Wauchope pub. They're fucking dire. They've only got like three, and the bouncers sit there all night playing them anyway.

Fuck if we sack Potter I'll lose my shit.

    Hock no longer coming?

Yeah, apparently Eels granted him a release on compassionate grounds. I honestly think the Eels jumped at the opportunity to free up their cap seeing as half the players they fucked off are still under contract. So shit though, was the only good signing going into next season.

    You still may get Wallace...

What else is there to do in timber town?

Those two and nrl gossip just share each others shit anyway.

Midway through last season, Peter Wallace and Corey Norman appeared to be the combination that would help ensure the Brisbane Broncos’ standing as a perennial heavyweight of the NRL continued in the post-Lockyer era.

Next season, they may find themselves reunited and charged with the equally imposing job of guiding Parramatta back to relevance, with serious concerns over the immediate playing future of embattled halfback Chris Sandow.

Despite suggestions Sandow was preparing to visit a healing farm near Port Macquarie to sort out his troubled private life, family members and club officials at Parramatta insisted the talented young halfback would be going nowhere before season’s end.

If Sandow requires time away from the game on compassionate grounds, it is believed the Eels would look to sign Wallace, who is on the lookout for a new home after he and Scott Prince were told they were not part of the club’s plans beyond this year.

At $550,000 a season, Sandow’s off-field struggles have become a major headache for Eels coach Ricky Stuart, as he looks to rebuild the team.

Meh Wallace would be a better fit for Parra than Brisbane.

Would be interesting to see if he plays in the halves, or they try to turn him into a hooker.

Milford's manager saying he's going to take legal action if the Raiders don't release Milford.

  16. Cribbage RG Cribb

They'll release him at the end of the season if he still wants to go then IMO. They're just buying some time to try and change his mind.

  17. Alec AD Funkotron

Yeah, that's probably the most likely scenario. There was some talk about how some wanted him to sit out next year, but that really can't legally happen with his clause.

Hoping they'll miss the 8 and end their season sooner.

I heard he doesn't want to go anywhere.

Why's there always such a shit storm when a player is leaving Canberra?

Probably cause we've never been noted as signing big name players (the last 15 years or so). We've always prided ourselves in bringing through juniors and that's probably why it happens. There's always more outcry when the junior is a real talent like Milford, Carney, Dugan for example.
