    My mate had an almost identical break to Yow Yeh a few years ago. He managed to get back running and playing footy, just took a full year off and did heaps of pool work. With all the doctors and staff at the professional level I'm sure Yow Yeh will get back eventually.

    I had an injury in the same area as YowYeh, snapped Fibula and syndesmosis. However, he snapped both bones and was compound though, which is far worse.

    I did mine this time, 2 years ago, and I still haven't got all my speed back, and joint stability is really only just coming to what it was prior to the injury. However, he has only been around 18 months and before breaking his hand, he was back playing at a pretty high standard.

    Ankle/Foot injuries are among the worst apparently. Because of the amount of bones etc. There are so many things that can go wrong. As soon as 1 component is out of whack, the whole joint can be fucked.
