    Ably assisted by Fung.

In tribute to the Great Man himself.

Blow me if that isn't a cheeky little look from the Legend there.

Makhaya Ntini and Chaminda Vaas are the first signings for Youssou N'Dour. Some anger, some fire and some experience in spades.

TBH I think you're definitely one of the favourites for this, as long as you don't go too leftfield with the selections.

  4. Speirz DG Speirs

Chances are he will, unless Fung reins him in.

Fung has already prevented me from selecting Duwayne Bowden, Brandon Hiini and Matt Prior. Little did I know at that time that Matt Prior had already been taken. Fung assured me he'd last until at least the 3rd round.

You were geniunely going to go for Prior? If you were, that makes me feel much better.

  7. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Erm. No. I was taking the piss.

    FFS!

I'm just ahead of my time.

Hiini's pretty gun, to be fair.

To be fair to you, mate, it could have been worse. Statistically, he's not bad and I doubt the sim will be capable of having him concede 50 byes. I would never pick him personally, but I guess you could have picked Kamran Akmal.

I  Hiini. He's a top, top lad too. Shame he's not been given a Canterbury contract this year. Would be a pretty good number 9 for late in the draw.

Yeah I saw that; I assumed he'd declined or something. Do you know what actually happened there?

They always seemed to be batting him about 3 spots lower than they should so maybe he's just not rated.

  15. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

He was rated by Dave Nosworthy but I don't think the new coach rates him as highly. He's a pretty decent bat to be relegated down the order as much as he was last year. Poor treatment from the Cantabs.

    Superstar.

There are better batsmen available, but Ryder has the extra added bonus of useful partnership breaking medium pacers.

  20. Cribbage RG Cribb

    Ryder's an astute pick IMO.
