Only just got the hang of using the hunting instinct ones. Good idea though, will have to start using more. Probably another good idea too. Leopards also lurk in that area and I got killed by one trying to finish off the panther. lol
Yeah when I was up to it I'd unlocked two of the hunting ones, I think it's the hunters instinct one that lets you see animals and makes non aggressive ones attack you? And the other one stops all non aquatic animals from gnawing on you, which stops those cunting leopards from sneaking up on you. Stock up on yellow herb and just bow it until it dies.
Rock is the best method. Most times they'll run away once you get up there and fire at them, but you can just lure them back.
It's hard when you're a noob and you're playing against the people who are still playing it a year later i.e. seasoned veterans who know every piece of every map like the back of their hand.
Yeah thats how it is sadly. Best way to learn the maps is just follow cunts who are leading see where they go. Also just spend a few matches hiding in places, you will get raped but at the end of the day it was likely going to happen anyway.
i was thinking that, the map looks like it will be pretty sizeable once you get all the towers and can see everything on it. are these things really useful? haven't used any of them besides health ones? i really want to get that too, it looked boss. what is your kd?
I've never really got into any proper open-world type games...thinking about making Far Cry 3 the first...
When I used to play; Bo1 3.86 Bo2 2.75 Bf3 1.86 Something like that. Haven't played any of them for ages though.
Imo the best "open-world" experience will be one of the Elder Scrolls games. Games like GTA are open world but the open world features are actually a lot more shallow than they may seem at first. There isn't really a whole lot to explore and most of the fun comes from being able to wreck havoc. I reckon Far Cry comes somewhere in between. It's got some exploration, but stuff like side missions have nothing to do with the actual lore of the island, unless the point they were trying to make is that the natives are all crazy. You get a few hours of exploring so you unlock the outposts and get skins for crafting, but once that is all complete there is nothing more to it. Not saying FC3 isn't a great game, but if what you're looking for is an open world experience, rather than a great action/FPS RPG with open world elements, I'd say Skyrim or Oblivion would be better games to start.
insert elitist lolkdr comment regarding CoD and other FPSs with no real substance Stupid forums thinking I'm trying to use html or bbcode or something
How does Assassin's Creed fit in there? I'm thinking a fairly mainstream game would be a good way to ease into it...
