Because all of the fanboy and fangirls who are 14 will be like "omgz totes voting for Goyte" and seeing as they are all sheep they will vote for him, and he will win. So theres no point in voting.
I've really missed a lot of music this year. I'll have to go through the lists to see what to vote for. Off the top of my head, I'll be voting for Gotye, Matt Corby, Strokes, Wombats, the Drums.
Because 3/4 years ago I'd do a shortlist and have 50 songs on it. Now I can't even find 5 songs that I think are worth voting for.
