    Played there for a couple of games at his last season at Wigan is the last I can remember. Not overly fussed who's the other half as long as we have Widdop to run the show, McGuire deserves a call up though. Tomkins should not be in the team barring major injuries, less than great form these past couple of years shouldn't be rewarded at all the way he's gone down under. Utility on the bench at best.

    Yeah Widdop and McGuire is what I'd go with.

    I can't believe McGuire was ignored for so many years. He's a good player and I wouldhave liked to see him havea crack at the NRL.

    There are quite a few English players like that though, don't think Roby will go either which is a shame, mcguire probably does deserve to play but I'm not sure he has the alround package that Luke Gale has, Kicking, support play and so on. Although it has got better for mcguire in the last 2 years

    Danny Addy has had a great season for the bulls, was unlucky to not be in the running for Championship player of the year, he has been great, he is in scotland squad again though

    The thinking in English Rugby League is so different to in Australia. Having watched a few games while living over here I can safely say that not only is it a level down but the thinking from the English pundits is terrible.

    Don't think it's a level down, just taught differently. Admittedly it hasn't been the best this year but same with NRL. As for the pundits well they are shocking, there are only 1 or 2 ex players who know what there on about

    Was a proper final, great tries, hard work and plenty of forced errors. Glad to see Jamie Peacock finish with another title he started winning one against Wigan and finished by beating Wigan
