He follows the route shown by Bakkum going low and to the corner, usually a difficult shot to score off.....



...But he gets it! Herd scores.

Mighty Sharks shot 2:

Izett is now on the ice to take the Sharks next shot, they badly need this to have a shot.

He doesn't get too close to the keeper before faking once and then putting in a powerful shot for the top corner.. Chung is reaching out with his stick.............






.....AND HE STOPS IT!!! Chung saves a 29th shot in a row, will they ever beat him tonight?!

Falcons Shot 3:

Manera up for the Falcons now, a goal here will force the Sharks to score or lose next shot.

He wastes no time with a strong shoot to the top corner of the net, Morris is reaching with his stick this time....






........ But it just beats him, Manera scores!

That's 3 - 0, the Mighty Sharks need the next shot to go in or they will lose.

 

Mighty Sharks shot 3:

Hall is out on the ice for his shot. He's under immense pressure, he needs this to go in or the Sharks have lost a second game in a row in a shootout.

He takes a few deep breaths, then sets off with the puck, skating up fairly close before he fakes left, goes right and shoots for the bottom corner. Chung has just about been faked out of his pads here, but he's recovering, reaching out with his leg..........












..... It's IN!!!! Chung has finally been beaten by the Sharks, and all it took was a the 3rd shot of a shootout....
