Hurricunts thinking their subbie is awesome because they have Sheep games? Those feeble minded fools.
I'll make this prediction now. Spartans will win S5, but will not win S6. So many of our guns are inactive. Our front row isn't performing well, and Eggman is only going to get worse and may not even sign a contract next season. S6 looks like the Crabs season if things continue the way they are.
Going to refrain from making any calls until after Spartans-Crabs first game. Though I would agree, no way you win Season 6, but this season is quite 50/50. Rest of the table is pretty much irrelevant ATM.
Spartans will smash the Crabs at home. It'll be close at the Crabs place though. If the Spartans finish top, then they'll cruise the finals. The Crabs only just beat the Gamblers at home. Unless I have another hiatus, in which case the Crabs come in a bit shorter.
I should also add that if current activity levels continue across the board, then it's highly unlikely that there will be a season 6. There just aren't enough active members here any more to sustain a 6 team competition, and I have no desire to drop down to 5.

There just aren't enough Union fans here to sustain a competition without the sim-jumpers, I think. I've invested so much time in this, that I hardly want it to fizzle out, but neither am I going to spend more time satisfying the curiosity of the online equivalent of one man and his dog. It was unfortunate that my hiatus coincided with Cribb stopping simming - which can hardly have helped keep people interested in CricSim, but if the players aren't there, what can you do? I mean, we could go through another phase of recruitment from rugby sites, but it's not exactly been hugely successful so far. The guys on Planet Rugby are interested and like the sim, but they're only going to want to play on their own team (like the Crabs) so that doesn't solve the numbers problem for the rest of the teams. EDIT: I mean, the difference is clear. Round 1 matches got double the posts and double the views of the round two matches.
This isn't intended as a criticism but announcing the games better might have helped. IIRC the Crabs game was announced as happening in a couple of hours at 5am our time.
