So the Panthers are allowed to score tries off knock ons? Anyway, Lawrence's effort there was pathetic. The refs in the 2nd half made a few questionable decisions, but it was a well, fairly officiated game. We lost this game more than Penrith won it, we butchered it. We should've won this, Ellis' drop when in space and then Lawrence's let them catch and score were just poor. In the end, when you have a moron coach that plays a halfback at fullback, a fullback on the wing and a winger at halfback, as well as making vital interchanges when 8 points down with 3 to go, you're going to lose the games that you should win.
I thought this was funny as well. Looks like the better team won. You had to expect it really. Wests Tigers have been owned by Penrith for 4 years now. Was a great win and I am very happy not only that my team won but Lukic's team didn't/
That try Coote got was an obvious try and I am sure there are many here that agree. I am sure that Ryan was the only one who pushed it forward, Coote knocked it back
Coote touched the ball slightly forward and almost instantaneously Ryan hit it towards Lewis. That's why it looked like Coote hit it back. It was the Tigers game to win in the 2nd half, despite having a completion rate of 25% we kept our self in the game. Anyway, Moltzen's injury is going to kill our season unless Fitzhenry is magically kicked out of the team and Lazarus/Taumata plays halfback the whole game.
****, I just remembered that strip by Lewis on Ellis which gave Penrith the ball at our 40 when we had a roll on and then they scored. I reckon if we keep that and take it down Penrith's end, it could've been a different result.
lol @ the tigers. Had Hayne helping them out (mainly 2nd half, but a bit in the first) and still couldn't win. The Lewis no try was a try every day of the week, hits the Tigers, then Coote BACK clips the tigers again and still goes BACK.
Was my opinion for sure. I thought it was a try and if any other team did it, I would of called it a try as well. Lewis deserved the try and he will see the replay and he will know it was a try.
And? The refs were by no means in your favour, it was fairly officiated. There were poor calls in favour/against both teams. I expected to lose this, so bringing up the score time and time again to try and add insult to injury is also pointless.
