Essentially he's taking about a sample size of three games in which spinners have gone okay on his stupidly h4x'd pitch, and on two of those occassions the opposition only had one good bowler - a spinner - who took all the wickets due to a lack of support, including the tail, and finished with figures resembling 7/100, seeing the Vipers still pile on a massive score. And on one of those occassions the bowler was a leg spinner and it has been long proven that leg spinners don't need outrageous assistance to turn the ball anyway.

Ryan is often like this in sims though. His team loses or he plays shit or something so then it's just not fun for him anymore, and he has a massive cry about something he thinks isn't right. Posts about the simulator or whatever just make CricSim massively shit IMO. He got banned from RLSim completely for something similar once and I'll just kick the crying cunt off the forum altogether if he doesn't wake up to himself.

Scenario: Team loses multiple wickets to spinners on a pitch that doesn't turn on multiple occasions.

Correct Response: Fuck we've batted shit, we really shouldn't be gifting wickets away to spinners on a pitch like this.

As I've said before to people setting their pitch conditions - good players will generally find a way to do well anywhere, and your pitch conditions should be set to lift up the fringe players in your squad to potential match-winners. Hunter is gun, so he's going to take wickets even on a road with no assistance, especially if he's the only one in the entire team capable of taking a wicket. Someone like Hughesy on the other hand is going to need assistance to perform with the ball. I still think you prepared a pretty good pitch though, merely because most of the overs your team bowls are by seamers so more bowlers are getting assistance more regularly, but if you thought no spinners were ever going to take any wickets on your pitch all season you were mistaken.

The only thing really out of ordinary IMO has been Shri taking 4fa in the first innings of this game. Shit happens though, it was basically a fluke.

Yeah, I think the pitch you (as in the club) came up with was the right call, but you were kidding yourselves if you thought good spinners would rock up and go wicketless.
