    Shri's role with the ball in first innings was crucial there IMO, stopped the long Vipers batting line up posting a huge score.

    12 wickets go to spin for the away side. The pitch may not suit spinners but the Vipers don't seem to play spin well. I suppose you would expect that with their spinners during net sessions being Hughesy and Das!

    From now on we drop all pace bowling options at home and just go with spinners. Our bowling should look something like this next time we play at home:

    Hughes
    Das
    Gee
    McGrath

    Don't worry about a fifth bowling option because given how spinners keep doing so swimmingly on a pitch that offers them no assistance, we won't even need a fifth bowling option.
