What if it's raining? Pretty much guaranteed points for the loser? And how many games do the winners dominate completely but don't string it together until near the end? So many games are clear cut just by a 10 point margin, and so many times the loser will score a random try in the 79th minute to bring it back to 4. How many out of form teams towards the end of the season will still undeservedly make it, it will be so hard for the bottom teams to leapfrog them seeing as so many games are by tight margins. Your system is just retarded mate.
MF I can't see how someone would love Perrett so much and hate McManus so much. McManus was picked too early but these days he's one of the better wingers in the comp. He's not the fastest or flashiest but he gets the job done more than most. He's a brilliant finisher as well to boot (as shown last night). Was devo to miss out on him for NNRL.
lol, no. What a stupid thing to say. There's about 5-10 GP games each year. Wtf does that have to do with me saying teams who get into golden point should get something? None of what you've said here bears reality or is relevant to what I posted. Fucking moron. Read what's written.
Yeah but it's okay for you to say my ideas are stupid simply because they differ to yours (which are fucking illogical to begin with). You still haven't made an argument against my system. Pointing out a flaw does not render the system worse than the current one. You jump up and down about differentiating teams by a point or a few seconds in regular time yet you have no problem with placing teams who lose by a point on the same page as teams who get beaten by 60.
FWIW I think Tahu has to play, classiest outside back they have. Mcmanus is destined to play fg for ages, but he will always get outjumped by origin quality wingers and his dummy half running is average. That said he is fantastic positionally both in attack and defence which is easy to underate. I just think wes > him as a winger.
There's no reason to change the backline they had in Round 1. They're playing their best backline currently.
You made it sound as though you wanted to give points to teams who only 'just lose' like in the Rugby. If you want to just give points to GP contenders 'because it's unfair for the loser' well then that's just fucking stupid, why even have GP at all? It's just as unfair for the loser if they lose in the 79th min to a field goal.
No, I really didn't. Don't put phrases in quotation marks unless the person you're quoting actually said that. If after 80 minutes the scores are locked, both teams should be given 1 point. And then they play for the extra point in.........wait, don't tell me..........extra time. Because it's exciting and a draw is unsatisfying. lol, so that's three people who've made this ridiculous argument. You don't like the idea of separating losers by a point or a few seconds because it's unfair.....yet you don't mind placing teams who lose by a margin of 60 points on the same page, as if that's fair... FMD.
