What's the weather like in Newcastle? Lots of rain in Sydney and torrential rain in the south of the state but I don't think Newcastle are due for any rain until tomorrow. It's crucial IMO. St George will win on a wet track but I'm backing Newcastle if the conditions are decent. Newcastle's backline is genuinely exciting IMO and their middle third forward rotation is actually pretty good with the additions of Snowden and Costigan. Rate them this year as long as Mullen can do a serviceable job as organiser.
Yes cunt. Wes is good in attack. He's not the reason I made that point though; there are six other players in that backline.
It excites me from a "this could be a really good backline" kind of way; not a "I want to watch them play" kind of way. I hate watching Boyd play too, but he's good. Not really a big fan of watching Aku "I'm really fast and built like a brick shithouse so I'm a good player despite having little to no skill at all" Uate either, but he's effective.
