    Alot of our middle order are around the same averages so they are easily covered if one fails, whereas Bakkum is a massive liability who you are batting with. So you have to ensure not only that you don't get out but if Bakkum does get out cheaply (more often than not lets face it), you then have to attempt to score big.

    If I was to rank our five most important players you'd be there

    It'd be

    1.Weaver
    2.Morgan
    3.Denton
    4.Pettruci
    5.Bots

    So the middle order being better than the openers means they aren't as important? :laugh:

    Skippos is probably in your top 5 players, but I wouldn't have his importance at 2. Your bowling is a lot weaker than your batting, definitely more important that they fire.

    Morgan averages 49

    Our middle order all average mid 30s to early 40s.

    Apart from Pettruccccccccci's experience Morgan is the leading light with the bat imo.

    But your batting isn't your weakness really, it's your bowling. That's my point. You need Denton and Weaver to fire if you want to win, so they'd be top 2 wouldn't they? And i'd have Petrucci above Morgan.
