    Other have said that Dureau and Rogers combo has been so much better.

    And the only reason people jumped down Lukic's throat is because it was Lukic. If Rob had called out Hughesy for the idiot that he is everyone would have agreed.
    So he isn't allowed to prove someone wrong by providing stats?
    No it wouldn't be a good buy, unless Thurston moves to 6. But a Thurston/Barba combo wouldn't work, IMO.

    I don't think a relatively unproven livewire is what either side needs, that is assuming Bowen comes back for the Cows, if not then Barba would be a good replacement at the back.


    With Newcastle I see Mullen as a 5/8th and think he could flourish outside a halfback like Kimmorley or even a hooker with good organisation skills.

    He could himself turn into a good organising half but I really think his strength is at 5/8th where he can chime in with the backs and take on the line himself a little wider. I just think that bringing Barba in won't help Mullen at all and could throw the whole team dynamic way off.


    But hey, that's just me and in fairness I've only seen 2.5 Newcastle games this year and am largely basing my opinion on Mullen from seasons past.

    I like the look of him but Canberra don't need another prop or not so mobile backrower.

    really? thats news to me, there was a rumor on BHQ that Tomau (sp?) might be pushed out of the Cowboys, someone said he should goto the raiders and then that guy got laughed at alot, your right i didn't make it up, but i did only post it to see what you would say, it just was less effort to say i made it up then explain my story of where i got it from(as i thought it was a bullshit rumor but i guess i was wrong).

    If Canberra lose Logan and Thompson it'd be a good signing. But not for too much money.

    Before any of that Canberra should be trying to sign a Mick Monaghan/Brett Finch/Scott Dureau/Michael Dobson etc etc.

    That is the thing my first post wasn't stupid, it made perfect sense but you chose to find your stats to contradict what I saw. I saw a hard running prop who came on and nailed us for 23 minutes before finally leaving the field. Some of his runs nearly set up tries.
